Fly Tying Materials - Body & Legs

We offer a few body and leg fly tying materials and as always, looking for more. The dubbing is located on a separate page as these are wrap type materials for the body.

Over the years, round and square rubber as been the mainstay for legs, especially for legs that have movement....but over the last 10 years or so, here at FTD our line of Baby Bug Wrap, Legs Alive and Baby Legs Alive have made rubber obsolete as these FTD products are better than rubber:

I have been scouring the earth and found a GREAT new Legs Alive. The diameter is between small and medium round rubber and has a wonderful sheen and will come in a beautiful color selection. There are over 200 strands in 8" lengths. Longer material and easy to dye up. The sheen is brighter and has a somewhat fluorescent appearance in the white.

This is ideal for a small wrap material on smaller flies. A very nice looking product and is durable. Try Some!

Legs Alive...This is the NEW Legs Alive! An excellent leg & body wrap material. Use in this place of round rubber as it is VERY durable, easy to use, vibrant colors and has motion beyond motion. This is similar in size between small and medium round rubber. 200 8" strands.

NEW Baby Legs Alive...This is a smaller version of Legs Alive, similar to mini round rubber. Excellent for smaller flies as tails, bodies and legs. Better than rubber as it is more durable, stronger, better colors and holds up under UV far better than rubber (which breaks down quickly in heat and sunlight). Great movement and easy to use. No need for round rubber anymore! 200 8" strands in many great colors.
