Moose Hair - We are offering the short straight Moose body hair and the Black/white mix Moose mane (longer 4" to 8"). The body hair is used for tails and Moose Mane used for quill bodies on dry flies and nymphs. Medium Moose main (black/white) also used for tails, a nice black/white look. Comes in a 4" x 4" piece or 16 sq. inches.

Typical Uses
  • Mainly used for tails on dry flies as well as nymphs. Black is popular

  • Mane, the long white/black is used as quill body material such as on the Mosquito pattern.
